Whole wheat pasta contains all the nutritional parts of the original grain, making it a valuable source of B vitamins, iron, protein, and fiber. Its glycemic index is low, which promotes long-lasting energy and appetite control. You have to choose pasta labeled as 100% whole grain or whole grain pasta such as wheat, spelled, or brown rice as its main ingredients.
